Yi Mu and I have been producing tea together in the Jingmai Mountains since 2017. And, while we’ve experienced old-growth Jingmai tea from as far back as the late-1990’s, such single-origin productions are uncommon. We’re pleased to have found this 250-gram selection drinking so nicely! It was produced by a multigenerational Xishuangbanna family, close friends of Theasophie, who have been collecting and producing tea since the 1990s. This tea demonstrates who well Jinghong storage conditions lend themselves to tight compression. Beautiful leaf stripes and color promise a fragrant and concentrated liquor.
